Tara is a passionate yoga and mindfulness educator committed to making whole-body health and education accessible to everyone. She currently teaches Yoga & Mindfulness Education full-time to students, coaches student athletes in mindfulness practices, and offers yoga classes for adults and families. Additionally, Tara organizes community wellness experiences for local neighborhoods, fostering a sense of connection and well-being.

With extensive experience in stress, trauma, and mental health, Tara’s background includes a degree in Child Psychology and a career in the Child Life Department of Children's MN, where she worked with patients recovering from eating disorders, facilitated therapeutic play for hospitalized patients and their families, organized community wellness events, and led Living with Grief Support Groups. Tara maintains a certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. 

With over 5,000 classes taught, a background in professional dance, Pilates, martial arts, and yoga instruction, and three years of full-time experience as a Yoga and Mindfulness Educator in schools, Tara has worked with students of all developmental stages. Her expertise ensures the highest quality yoga and mindfulness education for your student, family, or self.

Tara is committed to promoting the importance of mindfulness for health and well-being through her teachings in yoga, yoga sculpt, dance, pilates, music, creative arts, and more. She holds a Physical Education License, a Group Fitness Instructor License, and other relevant certifications. Tara's multifaceted expertise and dedication make her a valuable advocate for holistic health and mindfulness.
