Teachers

Tara is a passionate yoga and mindfulness educator dedicated to making whole-body wellness and mindful education accessible to all. She teaches Yoga & Mindfulness Education full-time in schools, coaches student-athletes in mindfulness practices, and leads inclusive yoga classes for adults and families. Through her community wellness events, Tara cultivates connection, resilience, and well-being across local neighborhoods.

With a degree in Child Psychology and a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Tara brings deep insight to her work. Her experience includes serving in the Child Life Department at Children's Minnesota, where she supported patients recovering from eating disorders, facilitated therapeutic play for hospitalized children and their families, led grief support groups, and organized impactful wellness programming. She also holds certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.

Tara has taught over 5,000 classes and brings a dynamic background in professional dance, Pilates, martial arts, and yoga instruction. With years of full-time experience as a Yoga and Mindfulness Educator, she has worked with students across all developmental stages, offering compassionate, evidence-based support for emotional regulation, movement, and relaxation.

In addition to her teaching, Tara serves as a mentor and coach to fellow yoga and mindfulness educators, offering guidance, inspiration, and tools to help them grow their impact. As a curriculum developer, her original yoga and mindfulness resources are used by educators and instructors around the world, supporting classrooms, studios, and communities in creating accessible and engaging wellness experiences.

She holds a Physical Education License, a Group Fitness Instructor License, and several other credentials that reflect her dedication to quality education. Whether through yoga sculpt, dance, creative arts, or mindfulness tools, Tara empowers individuals and families to care for their mental and physical health. Her holistic, heart-centered approach makes her a powerful advocate for wellness in every space she enters.
